Marketing is rarely just one thing anymore.

A strong website matters. Great video matters. Social media, photography, branding and search visibility matter. But even when a business is doing something genuinely newsworthy, there is still another question:

Who is telling the story?

That is one of the reasons Pirata Group Marketing is expanding.

As we move through 2026, PGM is adding public relations and media relations to a growing mix of creative and digital marketing services while continuing to work with businesses, organizations, community leaders and campaigns throughout Brevard County and Central Florida.

It has been a busy stretch — and an important one.

PGM Expands Into Public Relations and Media Relations

For years, much of our work has centered around helping organizations look better, communicate more clearly and get found online.

Now we're helping them get talked about, too.

PGM's developing public relations services are designed for businesses and organizations that have a real story to tell but may not know how to package that story for journalists, local publications, television outlets, podcasts or other media.

That can include everything from:

  • Business openings and expansions
  • Company milestones
  • New products or services
  • Community initiatives
  • Nonprofit campaigns
  • Events
  • Expert commentary and media positioning
  • Leadership profiles
  • Press releases and media outreach
  • Interview coordination
  • Brand and reputation storytelling

Our approach to PR follows the same philosophy behind our video, web and branding work: find the real story first, then communicate it well.

For Central Florida businesses, that also means understanding the communities behind the story. A business opening in Titusville is different from one opening in Orlando. An organization serving Cocoa has a different audience than one growing in Volusia County.

Effective local public relations requires that context.

Why Public Relations Matters for Central Florida Businesses

Public relations and digital marketing increasingly work together.

A meaningful news story can introduce a brand to an entirely new audience. Media coverage can create additional online mentions of a company. An expert interview can build authority around a person or organization. A strong announcement can later become social content, video content, website content and material for future outreach.

In other words, one good story can travel much further than a single press release.

That is the opportunity we want to create for our clients.

Supporting the Community: Heart of the South at Black Willow Farms in Mims

PGM's work isn't limited to what happens behind a computer or camera.

This summer, Pirata Group Marketing was proud to help bring Heart of the South to life at Black Willow Farms in Mims, Florida — an evening centered around live music, local businesses and the North Brevard community.

For PGM, the connection to the event ran much deeper than sponsorship.

Our Head of Creative, Daniel, was also a member of the band performing at Heart of the South, bringing together two sides of what we love to do: creating memorable experiences and building the creative work that helps people discover them.

Behind the scenes, PGM collaborated on the event's digital and creative presence from the ground up, developing assets that included event branding, web content, promotional materials, sponsor creative and professional sponsorship videos.

That work also gave us the opportunity to collaborate with a number of businesses supporting the event and the North Brevard community, including Golden Metal Buildings, Starling Ford, Loyd Contracting, Pittman & Sons and other local sponsors.

Those partnerships turned the event into more than a single night. Through branding, professional video production, digital marketing and sponsor storytelling, we were able to help participating businesses become part of the story surrounding Heart of the South before the event ever began.

And then came the night itself.

Black Willow Farms provided the backdrop as people from across Mims, Titusville and North Brevard gathered for live music, food and an evening built around community.

For us, that's the kind of project that represents PGM particularly well.

Brevard County is home.

PGM has deep roots in Titusville and North Brevard, and we believe a local creative and marketing agency should do more than market to its community — it should participate in it.

Whether we're creating an event's brand, building its digital presence, producing videos for local sponsors, telling the stories of Central Florida businesses or stepping onto the stage ourselves, we want the work to strengthen the communities we're fortunate enough to call home.

Telling Local Stories: Amanda Steadman and Level Yoga

One of our favorite parts of creative work is getting to sit across from someone who has built something meaningful and ask them why.

That's the idea behind PGM's Women to Watch series.

Recently, we sat down with Amanda Steadman, founder and owner of Level Yoga, to discuss what inspired her to open her studio and what she wanted people to experience when they walked through the doors.

Those conversations are exactly why we believe professional video should go deeper than polished footage.

The strongest business stories aren't really about businesses.

They're about people, purpose and the reason someone decided to build something in the first place.

When you capture that correctly, the audience can feel it.

A New Website for Elite Roofing Systems

Another major project recently launched for Elite Roofing Systems, a Central Florida roofing company.

Elite already did excellent work.

The problem was that its old website didn't communicate that quality effectively.

PGM rebuilt the company's website from the ground up with a stronger visual identity, improved mobile experience, faster navigation and a structure designed around the way homeowners actually search for roofing services.

That distinction matters.

Someone researching a roofing contractor casually from a desktop computer may behave very differently from a homeowner standing in a driveway after discovering a leak.

The website needs to work for both.

We also structured the Elite Roofing website around local SEO, answer engine optimization and AI search visibility, helping search engines and emerging AI platforms better understand:

  • What services Elite Roofing provides
  • Where the company provides them
  • What questions homeowners are asking
  • Which pages provide the best answers
  • How the company's services relate to specific Central Florida communities

Modern website design isn't simply about making a site look newer. It should help a business get discovered, establish trust and turn attention into action.

We Rebuilt the PGM Website Too

There is a fair question every web design company should be willing to answer:

What does your own website look like?

So we rebuilt ours.

The new Pirata Group Marketing website was designed to better represent what PGM has become — a full-service creative and digital marketing company offering services including:

Website design and development, professional video production, photography, branding, social media management, digital strategy and public relations.

The site is faster, cleaner and easier to navigate, but the biggest improvement is clarity.

Prospective clients should be able to understand what a company does without digging for the answer.

That same principle guides the websites we build for our clients.

Political Marketing in Cocoa: Supporting Ron Chabot

Campaign work has also been an important part of PGM's recent projects.

We've been working with Ron Chabot during his campaign for Cocoa City Council, including an on-location photography session in Cocoa, ongoing social media support and the design and launch of his campaign website. https://www.voteronchabot.com/

Political marketing moves quickly.

Issues change. Events happen. New content needs to go live. Voters are exposed to candidates across websites, Facebook, video, mail, events and other channels.

But despite the pace, the objective is relatively simple:

Help voters understand who the person actually is.

That requires consistency between the candidate's photography, website, messaging, social presence and overall brand. It's another example of why PGM's model has increasingly become integrated rather than service-by-service.

What Does a Full-Service Marketing Agency Actually Do?

For PGM, full-service marketing doesn't mean selling every client every service.

It means having the ability to determine which combination of services actually moves the needle.

A new company might need branding and a website first.

An established business may already have a strong brand but need better video.

A healthcare practice may need expert positioning and public relations.

A nonprofit might need an emotional mission video.

A political campaign may need photography, social media, website development and rapid-turnaround creative.

The strategy changes.

The standard shouldn't.

Serving Brevard County and Central Florida

Pirata Group Marketing is a family-owned Florida marketing company with roots in Titusville and projects throughout Central Florida.

Our work increasingly reaches businesses and organizations throughout communities including Titusville, Cocoa, Melbourne, Viera, Mims, Ormond Beach, DeLand and the surrounding Brevard and Volusia County areas, with projects extending into other parts of Central Florida as well.

That local knowledge is particularly important for SEO, content marketing and public relations.

Google may understand that two businesses are 40 miles apart.

A local marketer understands that they may serve completely different communities.

What Makes PGM Different?

We're producers, designers, strategists and storytellers — but we also believe marketing should still feel human.

The goal isn't simply more content.

It's better communication.

A website that finally represents the quality of the company behind it.

A video that makes somebody care.

Photography that actually feels like the person or organization being photographed.

A brand people recognize.

And now, when the story deserves a bigger audience, public relations that helps get it into the right rooms.
